Our Role As Your Minister / Celebrant
We each hold weddings as individual ministers offering all the ceremony options found in the Ceremony Options section, or should you prefer we can hold your ceremony as a couple. You'll find more information about us holding ceremony together under Ceremony Options / Tailor-Made / His and Hers.
There's a huge amount of information out there in the world now all about weddings - weddings are big business and there are hundreds of dedicated books / magazines / shops / websites / planning services - you may find the choice is completely overwhelming.
As your Minister / Celebrant our aim is to create a beautiful, personal and meaningful ceremony for you. Whether you'd like it to be very informal with touches of humour, or whether it's to be candle-lit to feel romantic, sacred and beautiful - you tell us what 'flavour' you'd like and we take our lead from you.
We've collated information from the 'wedding supermarket', so you don't have to and have at least a dozen books on hand for our reference. Not only do we discuss ideas, offer suggestions and gather information from you (and in doing so get to know you), we also hold you in our thoughts and prayers in the lead up to your big day and are available for any additional support as and when needed. The lead up your big day can be very stressful and overwhelming and sometimes you might just need some extra support from somewhere and you don't know who to turn to.
If you live overseas it may be that we don't meet until the week or day before your ceremony whether you come to the UK or we come to you. We strongly believe that even though we may not meet you prior to holding your wedding ceremony it doesn't detract from what we can offer.
We live in an amazing age of technology which we can enjoy and use to our advantage; whether we communicate by telephone, email, post or Skype if we're not able to meet face to face in advance of your big day it's no problem for either of us, and we hope that can also be the case for you too!
