Tailor-Made
Personal And Meaningful
We offer to create ceremony just for you and we start from scratch with each Tailor-made
ceremony we do. We start with your individual needs in terms of when and where you'd like the
ceremony to be then we look at the different elements which make up a ceremony.
We find out what you'd like to have included in your marriage ceremony and then we bring
everything together in the most fitting order for you and create a flow - you don't need to worry
about how that's going to happen, it's our job to bring it all together.
It's good to have a clear beginning and ending. Usually we'd suggest we start with something to
calm nerves and excitement a little, then move into a gradual build up to your vow-taking, then
finish with something very joyful and celebratory.
Here are some of the steps we use to prepare your Tailor-made ceremony.
- We gather information from you to understand exactly what you want, such as how long you'd
like the ceremony to last and what kind of atmosphere you'd like to create
- We get to know you a little and find out about each of you individually and personally (we
take into account each of your religious/spiritual upbringing and your journey to your current
belief system)
- We take into account the beliefs of the friends and family who'll attend the wedding
- We use questions to find out what readings, music, prayers, names for God / Spirit,
creative or traditional elements you would like for your ceremony - or give you ideas and
suggestions if you don't know what you'd like. And we can guide you as to what would be
appropriate and what wouldn't, and what we feel would work and what wouldn't
- We respond to and consider requests for traditional 'elements' to be included in a
ceremony; with sensitivity, clarity and the greatest reverence for the tradition they come
from. We can offer ideas about rituals to include.
You have three choices for Tailor-made ceremony, Unique,
His and Hers or Ceremony Creation.
We also offer two further options of ceremony if you feel a Tailor-made ceremony isn't for you -
Themed or Simple.
