Hi I'm Will. I was born in Perth, Western Australia, where I lived for nearly 30 years until I came to the UK in 1993 through a series of synchronicities. These life changing events guided me to London and eventually to Scotland in 2000. I'm now settled in a remarkable place called Findhorn where I've been living and enjoying life for the last 6 years.
After living in Findhorn for 6 months I discovered that my ancestors are from these very parts. My Great Grandmother was born in the village of Findhorn about a mile from where I live today. My Grandmother was born just outside Wick in the very North of Scotland and my Great Great Grandparents are buried in Kinloss Abbey just a mile in the other direction from where I live. So I guess it's not surprising that I feel in some ways I've come home.
I spent a large part of my life as a Cabinet Maker in Australia. I used to design, make and install kitchens and other furniture. My working life changed direction a few years ago when I was drawn to undertake a two year training with the Interfaith Seminary in London to become an Interfaith Minister. Since completing the training I now make myself available for ministry work - counselling, weddings and funerals. Though I now spend less time designing and building furniture, I do love working with wood and will always work with wood in some shape or form.
Angie and I really enjoy working together. We've led marriage ceremonies both individually and jointly and have also held the occasional funeral ceremony together. Angie has also led marriage ceremonies whilst I've done video (DVD) and photography - two of my favourite semi professional passions. We love that we're able to work as a team to offer a package in this special way.
I offer Spiritual Counselling and again Angie and I work together to offer Relationship Support to couples as a couple using the Spiritual Counselling model to give the sessions a spiritual underpinning. And when we work together on funerals Angie holds the ceremony and I offer support which can include bereavement support or help with the practicalities that need to be taken care of (especially when families choose not to use a Funeral Director).
I'm hugely inspired by the technology available to us in this day and age and love the opportunity to use it. Whether it's filming or photography, recording a ceremony or creating the perfect music compilation for your wedding DVD I hope that I can offer you support with whatever your needs or requirements are.
As a Minister I endeavour to meet each person and each situation with warmth, compassion and clarity, and to serve when and where I'm called, whether it be holding a ceremony or lending an ear to someone in need.
