Angie Alexandra

I live with my partner Will close to the town of Forres as part of the wider community surrounding The Findhorn Foundation. I love everything about living in Scotland - the seasons, the kind and friendly people, the whisky, the beaches and the wide open landscapes, even the weather!

I don't follow a particular religious or spiritual path - the role I've chosen to take as an Interfaith Minister means that I have the greatest respect for all the different religious and spiritual paths, but my own personal path is simply one of service to humanity through ceremony. I'm called to offer traditional ministry in an alternative way - according to my clients' beliefs, not mine.

My work is mainly weddings, funerals and baby blessings, but I do other ceremonies when asked and have done renewing marriage vows, both separation and divorce, re-naming, stepping into wise-woman, special birthdays, healing rituals, land blessing, invoking a safe birth, a pre-birth blessing, and a thanksgiving and goodbye for someone leaving an organisation.

I know a little of life's ups and downs first hand - the joy of marriage, the pain of divorce, the excitement of new directions, the sadness of bereavement. I hope that both my experiences and my training together help me work with sensitivity, and that all who approach me find me friendly and down to earth.

My calling is to offer ceremony that's inclusive and welcoming of all the unique and personal beliefs those gathered together on any occasion bring. I believe humanity's needs and beliefs are changing and evolving, and so the options available to people for ceremony and ritual need to evolve too to meet those needs.

I'm often out and about holding ceremony for people but when I'm working from home I offer hands on healing, coaching and counselling, aswell as helping people clarify their funeral wishes.
